Q: Eternal Bond | decrypt the message

SpyderScriptMy father was never too close to his kids, but when his fishing trawler mysteriously disappeared in a storm to the South of Guam, his wife and her three sons still felt the loss deeply. I, being the oldest and least emotional of them, felt compelled to investigate what the Navy and NOAA wouldn't....

So we have meta answers INSET, ACRES, FALCO
my first thought is to apply to each of them the same operation we did on puzzle answers to produce it
FALCO is paired with FOX in Star Fox (?)
ACRES can have a letter removed to make ACRE, a unit of measurement (though this feels kind-of cheap)
I have no idea of a phrase with INSET, much less one that matches it with a five-letter word that overaps at one letter
on a different tack, all the meta answers have decent anagrams: TINES, SCARE (and others), FOCAL
there are letter insertions INSErT and INSEcT, and of course FALCOn, but I didn't find anything for ACRES

The metas have all had some relation to the site in question, so I think the metameta has to have a Twitter connection
Birds or animal noises seem like reasonable paths to pursue
