@ThomasKlimpel Perhaps you should make a post on our meta, so that other users are aware of this, too.
After knowing this, I will definitely try to save some (or all) of the posts from the blog.
And I guess that some post blogs might even be linked in the answers and comments on the main.
BTW I'd guess that at least some of the posts are probably archived in the Wayback Machine: web.archive.org/web/%2A/http://math.blogoverflow.com*
It is strange that (according to the post you linked) the blogs are going to be stopped, yet on the main meta there is a discussion about promoting them: How can we improve blog promotion?

Blog Overflow is actually going to be shutting down completely soon, so it doesn't make sense for us to invest time in fixing any bugs for it. We'll be reaching out to all the individual communities who currently have a blog on their site's Meta over the coming weeks to discuss whether they want to let their blog die or transfer it to an alternate blogging platform and maintaining it on their own, as Worldbuilding does now. Those Meta posts will contain more detailed information than I've provided here. — animuson ♦ Oct 7 at 22:24

@mixedmath Since you are the mod who was most active in connection with the blog, perhaps it is not completely inappropriate to ping you and ask whether you are aware of the plans to end blogs on SE sites.

@MartinSleziak Thanks for letting me know. I wasn't aware that they were acting on their plans to end blogs. But I know that they were thinking about ending blogs for a long time.
In fact, the MSE blog was started just a little bit after they had said they were going to stop making new blogs
but the moderator who initially set up the blog (who is no longer a moderator) was very persistent, so we got special permission

Well, thanks go mainly to Thomas Klimpel who mentioned the information here. Basically all I did was pinging you - just to make sure that at least one of the mods knows about this.
That's quite interesting information.
At least we will have something new to add to this post: History of Math.StackExchange
(I guess that since launching the blog was mentioned there, end of the blog should be probably mentioned too.)

Yes, I suppose so
