How can a user get a "voting correction" (explained as a counteraction of another user voting a specific user up or down too often in too short a period of time) when they've only had a single vote cast to their account in the previous three days?

@MichaelC Yeah, not sure how that works. I saw something similar yesterday or the day before, with an adjustment of only -10 rep. I suppose the voting corrections you and I saw were possibly just side-effects of the system removing/destroying a user who was serially upvoting a different account (probably spam/sockpuppet manipulation), because they also voted us each once?
