@BrianBallsunStanton Ho yeah, past 0200 now.
Getting ready to roll over and go to sleep.
Feels kind of nice though. It's been awhile since I've had something worth staying up this late for on a regular basis. I used to be quite the night owl. On the flip-side, I don't enjoy how much I must hate myself in the mornings after nights like this.

:6698 yeah.
so what kind of backgrounds are you thinking about for eagle eye?

Not sure. Just got done doing an extensive write-up on involuntary movement of mounts and riders. I'll probably handle the backgrounds tomorrow. I like the stuff that's already there for him, though. It'll be nice to play off of that.

A: Can forced movement be used to dismount a rider?

IsziBased on current RAW, the answers aren't quite as simple as the questions - in fact, part of them brings up another question which I'll be shortly sending to WotC support. First, let's break up your first question a bit: 1a. Are a rider and mount considered different targets? Yes. For th...

6:23 AM
yeah
I'd say /teleporting/ can
but teleporting is a special case

Spelled that out, too.
And, while teleporting can happen involuntarily, it's not technically "forced movement".

right
but you /do/ get a save if it drops you into the air, due to internal teleport rules

Right, but a teleport of the rider off of the mount would not generally put the rider "in the air" enough to be of consequence.
Interestingly enough though, this is not something explicitly addressed in the rules.

well, if you teleport them to the ground, then they're fine and not prone
cause somehow they magically extend their legs

There's a rule for the mount teleporting separate from the rider, but not vice-versa.

6:26 AM
but if you teleport them flat they get a save due to ... magic.
gnah
Ask cust serv? :(

Done.

You may want to read through that answer. I'm pretty sure I covered everything.

I did. It looked comprehensive
I wonder if the sniper build person wants any other levels
I was kinda surprised myself to figure out how to do a reasonable sniper at level 2

Haven't really looked much at that one. I'm still pretty new when it comes to topics of CharOp.

Hi there,I developed the map software, Iszi asked if there is 3 dimensions. Well sort of yes. If above the map you press status you will then be presented with several markers that can be used to indicate how many feet above ground level your character is. These status markers can be placed on your figure. Happy Gaming :)

When I say press status I mean press the button marked status.

Heya Than :)

You can upload mormal sized figures to use on the map. However if you want other bigger figures , i.e. 2 by 2 squares, 3 by 3 squares or even 4 by 4 squares then send me the link image (to than) to www.pbpmap.com. Or email it to jasons.post@gmail.com. I'll do my best to put it on asap but you may have to wait a day or two...

huh, funky.

Howdy
@BrianBallsunStanton I'll be updating the Elf soon, but could you remind me what was going to be the next step?

11:27 PM
?
basically after these second 2 backgrounds, people will choose characters and we'll get into the mechanical fiddily bits
Rough order: choose characters in some sort of fair treatment. Maybe send top three to me privately? Make sure you're OK with class/race, edit within bounds of backstory, then elements of group power selection based on... ideas I have.
