@kviiri I am mostly complete, but i will wait until I discuss with the group whether I take Balladeer or Story Teller. I am pretty good with free association and improvisation on the spot, and I think on my feet, so story teller might fit my style (player) better; though Balladeer(Air of the Elf Queen at first) probably fits the character a bit better ...

@KorvinStarmast I don't, I've never run any game online. Given the relative lightness of the system I think "use what you like" works just fine for me

@KorvinStarmast Having read the 13 True Ways book, I must say I'm impressed by how much stuff they gave the Druid, and Monk struck me (many times, because that's what Monks do) as very neat from the get go... but I get a rash from Chaos Mage x)

@kviiri So of course someone will want to play Chaos Mage. ;) I don't like Artificers at all in 5e, so of course one of my players has one ...

Classes rolling with the "random stuff happens around me" don't really mesh well with my idea of heroic fantasy. The neologism "lolrandom" springs to mind

@kviiri I have a friend who loves random stuff and none of the others in the group like it. Thankfully, he's playing a bard; he could have chosen wild magic sorcerer ...

... if his bard dies and he picks another class, maybe I should point him to it and see what he does with it. Or not.

@KorvinStarmast btw regarding your earlier complaint about 13TW, I also noted earlier that the cover art of the main book has a character who looks like they're meant to be a nunchuck-wielding monk :>

All the same traits but a different race

The DM banned spellcasting abilities for dwarf (story-stuff) and I want to be a Cleric Dwarf due its traits

But he is very open minded for homebrew stuff

So I am looking for a reskined race which has the same traits

+2 Con +1 Wis, +1 HP/level, 25 speed + heavy armor without penality.
