@uhoh Thank you for asking one of my favourite job interview questions :) When I was asked that question, I was interrupted with a "thank you, that's enough" after a minute or so.
Probably less than a minute.

@gerrit It's funny how our brain chooses what to remember out of a billion seconds of life.
How did they go about asking? Was it posed in the abstract, or did they show you an image and ask to explain?

@uhoh They showed me an image and asked me how such an image is produced and what it shows.
As for the brain thing; firstly it was less than two years ago, secondly it was for my current job, and thirdly I've since then seen the same image lying on the desk of the colleague across the corridor from me as he was preparing to ask someone else (who later joined as a co-worker) the same question :)
