Welp, I got semi-romantically rejected today and it sucks — turns out my crush isn’t even going to hoco in the first place

So the forty-odd minutes of texting and subtly trying to feel out whether she would go with me if I asked (answer: probably not) were a complete waste, and I feel rejected even though I didn’t actually ask her

On the bright side, my friends have plans for stuff that I’m involved in, and I’m not the only one going without a date in the first place

@BardicWizard Not sure what "hoco" is exactly (...after a few seconds of thinking about it, my guess is "homecoming"), but I know how it feels to be romantically rejected. Glad your friends are there and are including you in their plans. I feel like hanging out with friends is honestly one of the best ways to attend those sorts of events - no awkward worrying, just fun hanging out with friends :)
