@SPArcheon I ended up just re-listening to the city spies audiobooks followed by the murderbot diaries audiobooks but I was considering my little pony for a while cause my brother will occasionally sit through a few episodes with me
My little brother is my excuse for knowing a lot about kids tv shows these days, honestly

I say take any excuse you can get

@BardicWizard I've been out of this room 'til just now, but if you still need anything, maybe The Hidden Almanac? Episodes are very short, it starts as a supernatural radio-type show reporting on gardening and the weather and made-up hagiography, and then it gets weird, but it's very much "things aren't always good but we can still be okay and deal with it"
And Kevin Sonney's "Reverend Mord" voice is just ridiculously soothing.

@BESW I might try that! My comfort audiobook these days is the second City Spies audiobook (the first book is fine too but not great like the second), but it’s not great for falling asleep to cause I always get caught up in the story and don’t sleep
I could use something soothing

@BardicWizard Eragon. Not soothing but quite good at boring you out and getting you to sleep.
I personally recommend the two or three chapters that describe the life of an ant colony during the protagonist jedi knight training.
with all the copied content carefully picked references to other books and movies, it will also feel familiar and wholesome.
