So, the game just added a "gift system". Basically, now when doing requests for villagers you can very rarely gets some items called "gift". Those can be sent to a player in your friend list. When they receive it, they may get some random item, including even cookies if they are lucky (cookies are the in game gatcha lootbox that you buy with premium currency and contain rare furniture/clothes).

They also get a button "send back a gift"

See where this is going?

Soon, you will get gift that you can't give back... because you don't have any.

The update was released today .... and already people have guilt trip on the reddit channel....

But fear not... the gifts may be a rare item to get from normal requests BUT.... if you pay for the monthly subscription plan... your animal helper will have a much bigger chance to find gifts for you.....
