I'm trying to get a 2018 iPad to use Sidecar with a 2015 iMac, which technically doesn't support Sidecar but has all the Sidecar app files that come with the Catalina update--it's just not allowed to use them because it's older than Mac's semi-arbitrary cutoff for Sidecar support.

I've found some guides to forcing it to use Sidecar, but I'm not sure which are most likely to actually work and I'm not super comfortable poking around in Terminal.
