@Carcer it is from the comic - in one issue all the main six become vampire ponies to fight against an invasion of sentient apples (long story....). While in the actual story all the ponies just get bat wings and fangs "Flutterbat style" on the cover they did a little tribute to various famous vampires

It is pretty obvious that Twily is supposed to reference Lestat, Pinkie is Nosferatu, AJ is a classical Dracula, Dash is probably supposed to be taken from Twilight Saga (I guess she is Edward?) and based on the reports Rarity should be based on a character called Vampirella .

I guessed Pinkie and AJ I didn't understand who the rest were

BTW, the actual comic resulted in a "vampire pony" Pinkie plush which is extremely cute, even more extremely rare and obviously unlicensed.

On a different notice, it is a pity some of the comic stories were (and probably will since the show will end with this last ongoing season) never given an animated adaptation.
