@BESW One of the things that sold #11 to me, was how old he seems sometimes, despite being the youngest actor to ever play The Doctor

I think being unspeakably ancient and weary was one of the greatest strengths Matt Smith brought to the role, and it made me sad they didn't give him many opportunities to use it.

(Also, I think that age makeup was really unnecessary at the end.)

@BESW I liked the film. I hadn't read any of the comics, so that probably helped. I've read one since, and it wasn't really my thing. (Same with V for Vendetta, actually)

V is... well, it's not a FUN comic, but it's quite masterful. The film is a bit more fun, but not especially masterful.

The only Constantine I've read is appearances in other comics, like his original debut in Swamp Thing.
