@BESW in Masks a new generation, can you mix and match powers between playbooks?

Every playbook has this option.

@BESW I completely glossed over that as I was reading RTL starting from the pretty picture

If you want to mix-and-match from the start, most PbtA games provide some "this is fine but coordinate it with the group" text in the character creation section.

I haven't actually READ Masks to know if it does anything specific to support that.

but what I mean is, if I wanted to make a "THE TRANSFORMED" character, but wanted to add some kind of poison...

also, I'm not 100% on the difference between moves and abilities?

Again I haven't read Masks, but my guess based on the playbooks and my general experience with this SORT of thing, is that abilities are justifications for moves.
