Surprisingly, I feel more comfortable in my halloween costume than in pretty much anything else, and I think it’s because I am free to express my gender identity openly on halloween and not the rest of the year

so that’s just fascinating

I know several people who got their first opportunities to experiment with presentation in public via costume events like Halloween.

seems downright logical

in an unfortunate "society made this one of the only opportunities" way anyway

I present strongly feminine outwardly, most of the time, except for really really not agreeing with the standards of beauty and wishing I was a lot less mature

so it’s kinda funny that I feel most myself in a hoop skirt

turn it into a social distancing fad and then everyone has to wear it XD

I did not get the large one. Mine actually (super surprisingly) fits through the doorframe

I was just teasing a little anyway, I for one would be terrified to try to pull off something like that

either just wearing one or getting a bunch of people to do it XD
