Q: Temperature and time dilation

Jim ClaySay you had some liquid radioactive isotope with a half-life of X. If it was cold, the molecules would move slowly, and thus there would be virtually no time dilation involved, resulting in the standard half-life of X. That same liquid radioactive isotope is now heated up to a very hot temperatur...

Q: What is the general form of the ladder operator?

user408412It seems that ladder operators exist for nearly all operators. We have the ladder operators for the hamiltonian, for spin, and even for many particle systems where the ladder operators act as creation and annihilation operators. Are there ladder operators for every observable? Is there a general ...

Q: How do we detect black hole?
