Q: Why can't I post something on Physics Exchange for 2 days?

@Qmechanic the comment I generally attach to question I VTC as [homework-and-exercises] was copied and pasted from (I think) a comment of Kyle's years ago. I'm not wedded to the specific wording and would be happy to change it if requested.

@JohnRennie : Sorry for picking on you. You are just one out of many examples. Yeah, if you change the word homework into, say, homework-like, it tends to create less friction.
