There is now new SEDE room. Since some users pointed out various potential problems (different chatserver, inaccessible to users with no reputation on Meta Stack Exchange), it's probably worth keeping this one alive, too.

@MartinSleziak Is there something like a Stack Exchange API for SEDE? Because I need to combine SEDE and JavaScript to have some fun on a challenge that I assigned myself.
@Mr.YouKnowWhoIAm No, there is not. All you can do is support this Feature request. There used to be OData end-points but those were misbehaving so they were eventually disabled. I removed the guidance that was left for it somehwere in 2016.
There are some attempts to provide an client-side scraper but none of the those projects have come to maturity AFAICT.
