@Fredy31 friendly suggestion: If you are interested to keep up with the game, I would consider doing some of the current events/content.

It is quite clear that the main chain won't be broken - content seem to be locked by an ever increasing requirement chain

mondstadt->liyue-> inazuma -> raiden quests -> chasm -> etc

Very oversimplified but you get the idea.

it is quite evident that Sumeru will require the Chasm since there is some Archeon quest attached to it.

Considering that the GAA rerun so far doesn't seem to be about Klee oddly and there are also leaks about the isles being a permanent addition...there could be some Archeon quest attached to.

And that would in turn require the Chasm.

It is true that they are now giving a "quick start" feature to skip some requirements for events but... I'm not sure it will cover everything and even if it does the play experience would be meh.

it kinda makes sense... They probably don't want to go crazy with alternate dialogues for each possible undone event.

If Sumeru need to have Paimon mention Inazuma, they won't do two version based on whether the decree is still going or not - they will simply force you to complete Raiden story II

the spider web will get messier and messier.

basically you can leave behind random world quest like treasure hunts etc but if story characters are involved it seem it is wiser right now to prioritize those quest
