I got a weird one. I've got a network server hosting all manner of shared folders. Unfortunately, it seems Windows doesn't permit one to map a top-level view of the shares themselves, and mapping needs to be done on a per-share basis. But I'd like to make my users life easier anyway - I'd love to be able to deploy something that'd make it easier to access this top-level view in Explorer... Any ideas?
For reference, people basically type in \\storage in Explorer and get access to the various shares and whatnots that their login permits. But they DO need to type that in unless they make a shortcut or something on their own.

@Shaamaan I dont fully underrstand, it work that way, when you naviguate to a \\server, you see the share that a user could potentially access.
On another topic, winter is near, and I love my new wood stoove.

@Shaamaan DFS-N
Make a namespace \\domain\shares then build all the targets under that
You could then even make a group policy that adds that as a 'network location' though that part is a bit tricky
If you deploy DFS on all your domain controllers, the only thing people have to remember is the domain
they go to \\domain.tld

Good idea for the DFS-N
