My this old post got a lot of unexplained downs (and also some up). I think maybe the downvoters found something insulting or highly antipathetic statement in it, but I didn't have that intent. Any idea about its reason?

@peterh I hadn't voted on it, but I have to say that it's very hard to read. All the words are English but they are put together so ungrammatically that it takes an effort to get through it. And since the first three paragraphs appear to be rather a musing on the nature of being a sysadmin, rather than an actual answer, I can understand people finding it less than stellar.
