@DarkCygnus Don't know what the question is, but these days I like using Traefik or caddy as my proxy. I tend to like those a lot better. Nginx is also a good option as proxy.

@Zoredache Thanks :) I managed to make it with Nginx as reverse proxy. Had some pitfalls with the HTTP headers that nginx drops when proxying, specifically the Connection and Upgrade ones, but everything OK now... I also panicked for a moment because everything "was configured ok" but requests werent going to the upstream server. Turned out to be a missing service config on my router.

I checked those suggestions and both seem interesting. Will have them in mind for future applications thanks
