@WELZ I think your answer could use some updating, they moved that Align to Pixel stuff in the latest Illustrator if I'm not mistaken

the grid of squares and magnet next to squares is where it's at now I think? Unless this is something different and they moved that option

Lol, I kinda like them after figuring them out. and realizing that they aren't the only source of the problem. They are very useful sometimes. (though others they just piss me off)

I'm like trying to precisely move an object a bit and it just starts jumping all over the place... That's when I hit Ctrl+U

yeah ctrl + u and ctrl + y are probably my most used AI shortcuts

excluding the shortcuts for the tools of course

precision snapping is much easier in outline mode

currently working with an AI file that has over 400,000 anchors and it feels like it is taking years off my lifespan
