@Scott Well in the book engineering design, which outlines design in minute detail. The first step to do in design is:

Step 1: Dont do anything, forget this meeting took place and stop thinking of the request.

I love this, now i have academic excuse to tell my boss that in fact doing nothing when he gives a task is one of the steps to solve his assignment

This morning was rough! Kiddos are going to school/daycare dressed up in Halloween

My youngest is dressed up as a dinosaur and he has little slippers with claws that he did NOT want to take off

Trying to explain to the little dude that it's 0C outside and he's going to put boots on just for a couple minutes and then put the slippers back on did not go well

but, but, those are my dinosaur feet!

and when people pass by and see your kid howling and they wonder if they should be calling child welfare ^^'

nah. we all know that sometimes, children are inconsolable because, well, reasons
