In legal texts, at least in Sweden and Germany, it is common to print some parts of the body text in a smaller font. Is there a name for this typographic convention?
Examples:
generally pre 80s/90s lenses dont have that, but AF probably wouldnt work on a new camera without a special adapter anyway. Manual focus is more fun imo
depends on the lens and how you're attaching it to camera. I go cheap and don't bother with AF. Two of my old lenses could use AF if I bought a more expensive adapter but I use cheap ones and just manual focus
and the lens I just bid on at $510 the current high bid or even $1000 is still relatively cheap. The native new lens that is equivalent is coming out later this year and is expected to cost around $10,000
with that $400 lens I can go shoot surf/wake boarding competitions which is a niche not a lot of people have long enough lenses for and gives another revenue source
then rental really is a possibility. A comparable Canon Lens Rental costs about $400 for 7 days
For Pentax on the one hand the market is smaller, but on the other hand there's nobody renting them. If just one person rents it a year then in 3 years the lens cost me nothing
not really. I heard about it with its own crypto but I don't see it making sense and Kodak is barely surviving as a business right now which won't help fund such an endeavor
@PieBie started dating someone so its less me happy where I am then not as motivated to relocate right now. I'm still applying here and there to stuff in the same metro but am more focused on selling my photos and going to be focused on developing a marketing consultancy as well
I'd consider reselling it but would more than likely hold it for the rare usage and loan it / rent it out as well. A buddy of mine in Canada shoots Pentax so I'd at least let him try it
Can start offering services to wakeboarders and High School Athletes to photograph their competitions. I'd be pretty confident around here that parents would spend $700+ to have their kids football game photographed
lol buy once, hold forever. if you buy quality it retains value pretty well so can buy at the right price and always resell for most or all of your money back - maybe even profit
@johnp I tried the apodization lens that Sony came out with, just in a store mind you
as far as choosing a camera body goes these days, sony seems to be making sensors for everyone...to the point where you cant help but wonder whether sony is the only mirrorless option
they're really nice for drawing/editing. take a bit of getting used to though, even if used to a tablet. i had to get a small bluetooth keyboard to help with shortcuts
