For every user you can see "xyz posts edited" on their profile page. Then in activity tab you can choose revisions.
Obviously, the activity tab shows all edits you've made. (I am not sure whether 10k+ users will also see the deleted posts in that list.)

Yes, there certainly is a place where you can check this: Click on the "Users" tab in the main navigation bar. Click on the "editors" tab. Select the "all" filter. Search for your user name. When you see your account listed, look at the fourth line, which will tell you the total number of pos...
> However, do note that the number reported here is showing all of your edits, including those made to your own posts and multiple edits to the same post. It is therefore not a very good measure of one's eligibility for badges such as Strunk & White or Copy Editor, but it does provide a general idea.
@AsafKaragila The numbers I have posted about are the ones shown in the users' profile. For example, you can see "165 posts edited" in your profile page.

@WillSawin Just to make sure we're on the same page, the accepted answer to this question indicates that a primary happens if there are 10 or more candidates. I have no idea how universally this rule holds -- does it apply in our case?
@MartinSleziak Interesting. I had assumed that I would be unusual in that the vast majority of my edits have been to my own posts. But if I'm reading the numbers right (basically, I'm assuming that the numbers on the SEDE query that Martin posted initially include edits to one's own posts, and the final numbers he posted do not), that's not really the case -- the same is true of all the candidates except perhaps for Carl-Fredrik, who has made 34/89 edits on others' posts.
2:09 PM
However, what is a bit unclear to me is that the SEDE query returns 89 edits, while the profile page (revisions tab) only shows 46 revisions.
@TimCampion I think this page says "more than 10", not "10 or more". (I guess the primary brings the number down to 10). I assumed it applies in our case, but I don't think I had any special information about this - I just clicked the various links on the election page
I agree with Catija is not necessarily a good thing - I just thought it was an interesting thing to watch for. In any case, I posted that when there were 8 candidates, and the number seemed to be increasing slowly but steadily, but since then the number has been flat as people have been leaving and joining at equal rates.

I'm not particularly a fan of the new editor, either... but they decided to use it here so that we don't have to come back to these pages later to add it once (if?) we do make it network-wide. That said, it sounds like a preview pane of some sort will be added in, so hopefully this is the only MO election where this will be an issue.

@WillSawin To explain - primaries cut the voting period (normally 8 days) in half - the first four days are the primary (Monday-Friday) and the second half (Friday-Tuesday) are voting - which means that people have to remember to come back on the weekend Or Monday/Tuesday to actually fill out their ballot - and a lot of people may think that the primary was already serving that purpose. :)

Oops, I'm somehow logged into an account I made to ask a healthcare question for my fiancé a while back, my bad -- this is Alec Rhea. I am being open with this because it is my understanding that multiple accounts can be viewed as a potentially bad thing; I have never used this account on MO or any site besides money.stackexchange to ask a question about medicare/medicaid.
5:46 PM
@AlecRhea TBH I am not really sure about those statistics related to editing - since the numbers I got from SEDE differ from what I see on the site.
My opinion is perfectly fine to discuss thing here in chat. (After all, this is what the chatroom is for.) Of course, anybody can use those SEDE queries as they see fit.
Other than editing, so far I have only posted citizenship score and number of posts. chat.stackexchange.com/search?q=query&room=122425

@Catija Thanks for looking into the character count thing. It's nice to hear that SE is thinking of putting in a preview pane for the rich text editor! I appreciate that that would be a significant and potentially complicated commitment, especially if its presence / absence ends up being a difference between different sites. And apologies; I think the tone of my comment was a bit sullen -- I mostly just wanted to mention that the use of the rich text editor did not slip by unnoticed :)
@Catija On the topic of feature requests for the election interface, I also suggested here that there should be some sort of automatic link between the candidate statement and the candidate's answers at Q&A. Just in case you missed that.
6:58 PM
@TimCampion It may be a regression - there's an Meta SE post from 2012 saying that we added a character count and - at some point - it seems to have been lost. Not certain when. :(
