On some other sites, I saw ElectionBot in some chatrooms.
But I am not sure to which extent it would be useful. (Especially if room is quite like this, there might be more messages from bot than from actual users.)

Examples of election FAQs I can help with:
- how does the election work
- who are the candidates
- how to nominate
- how to vote
- how to decide who to vote for
- who are the current mods
- are moderators paid
- what is the election status
- when is the election starting
- when is the election ending
- how is candidate score calculated
- what is my candidate score
- what are moderation badges
- what are participation badges
- what are editing badges

But even without a bot we can summarize that so far there are 5 users who posted their answer to the questionnaire: Asaf Karagila, Daniel Loughran, Carl-Fredrik Nyberg Brodda, Liviu Nicolaescu, Alec Rhea.

There are currently three candidates with a candidate score higher than mine. One more, and I'll happily withdraw my nomination.

Are there some useful data which would tell us something about the users (some SEDE queries which could be useful)?
Number of questions/answer for users from the give list: meta, main
It seems that only four of the current candidates posted something on meta before the election: Asaf Karagila, Liviu Nicolaescu, gmvh, Alec Rhea.

Maybe I should have explicitly said that this only includes the current meta - from the data in SEDE we won't get anything about participation on tea.

@gmvh On the off chance that not happening, could you please post answers to the questionnaire before the official election begins? People are a lot less likely to check for further information once they've voted, so it's good to have it all prepared in advance. (Back on MSE there was a push at some point to force a day or two interval so that everyone has time to engage with users before the actual election.)

Q: Reason for the 2021 moderator election

Alex M.There are three possible reasons for having the moderators election this year (with 3 positions to fill): 3 moderators from the current team have decided to step down (for reasons that I consider personal and about which I am not asking); 3 new moderator positions are created, in addition to th...

@SamHopkins None of the current moderators are expected to step down. Some of the moderators have reduced their activity on the user-visible end of things, but none have expressed the desire to fully step down. — François G. Dorais ♦ Mar 25 at 20:00
@AlexM. From the above comment it seems that none of the moderators plans to step down. (At least if you're willing to take François G. Dorais' word.)
I have sent you an invite to this room - so I hope that you'll get some kind of notification.
I posted here rather than in a comment - since I wasn't sure whether this is what you're actually asking.

@AsafKaragila I've done so.

@gmvh Just saw, thanks!

@TimCampion: When are you going to throw your hat into the ring?

Would it be too much to ask Professor Hamkins to throw his hat into the ring also? If he's not too busy, of course.

@gmvh I hope you don't drop out of the race, even if more good candidate join in.

@AsafKaragila Interpreting that as a vote of confidence, I'm flattered! I'm considering it still.
