Yep, I think only the most recently active public chat room will stay unfrozen (possibly not counting chat rooms generated from a particular post's comments) – whether or not it's a general-purpose chat room.

There was a good question at aviation.stackexchange.com/questions/59328/…, and since it didn't have any correct answers, I asked it on SE.Engineering.

However, after a deeper dive than it should have taken me, I figured out the real answer.

I initially posted the answer here on SE.Aviation, but then realized that it's actually a better fit for SE.Engineering, as it's not fundamentally an aviation question. So I moved it to engineering.stackexchange.com/questions/52173/…

Should I make a short SE.Aviation answer which just says "check this out"? Or is it good to leave my answer in the comments?
