Hey @ymb1 If you happen to see anything like this in the future please continue to flag it - I did not at all mean to discourage you from doing so yesterday.

cheers @Jamiec -- you too as a team don't be discouraged. online moderation is a thankless job, but the numbers back you up, as does most of the community I'm sure
something i alluded to the day before, the community's professional contributions vs the usual wacky internet stuff -- it's a shame really growth is limited and potential is being wasted, which i blame on SE's business model. the Q/A format is an excellent seed to a knowledge base -- but then again not everyone is Jim Wales

@RalphJ @CGCampbell could you help me understand your perspective? why do you think this should not be deleted? personally I agree with Gerry's comments there aviation.stackexchange.com/review/low-quality-posts/55949

@Federico I can't. No excuse. I had just read the question in the normal site, and went through the reviews. I thought it was asking about the question, not one of the answers. Upon further review, no pun intended, and re-reading the answer, I should have agreed with the deletion. I'd probably have used the "no comment needed" reasoning. It's just too short and doesn't expound enough about why he believes what he does. Sorry about that.

@CGCampbell no worries. thank you :)

no worries, and thank you generally for your time and specifically about how you handled this in particular. Too often, recently, I've seen 0 or 1 votes to close or delete getting mod-hammered. For things that are, perhaps, less than totally obviously off-topic or spam, there is no reason to not let us "community members" decide.

I've held off casting a vote, and OP should have seen my comment 2 hours ago based on last seen, and no edit was made to split the question -- this is the pattern I'm used to, if no closure, nobody bothers aviation.stackexchange.com/q/84787/14897 -- thoughts? on the other hands, unless it's a new contributor, I find it best as in life AFK, to show the way than to do it myself -- so for me to split them, is also out of the question

sorry, that was an incomplete thought: that's a kind of post that when sent to review, would most likely by disputed
