Hey all. What's the word on copyright? Does an asker need to claim it, as in this question? aviation.stackexchange.com/q/44612/167
Or is it automatically creative commons?

Hi @Muze you should now be able to chat.
Please note that asking the question before improving it in chat got you question banned again, please try to be patient

@SteveV. When you post something to the site, you're already claiming that you have the right to post it, and you automatically put it under the CC-BY licence.
I suppose in that question the author is trying to avoid anyone saying "hey, you need to credit the photographer" by making it extra clear that they took the photo themselves

i can chat now thanks whom ever mad it possible!!!

probably @Federico if anyone :)

:D
@Muze please don't abuse this chance, ask here the questions before posting them on the main site, and wait at least 2 days before posting them on the site (now you have to wait months anyway, because you got "question banned" again)

Q: How can we make private planes cheap enough for everyone to own?

KrpcannonMore precisely, what are the biggest challenges to democratizing private aircraft ownership? Another way of answering this question, perhaps more concretely, is to cite what aspects of private planes make them expensive, or why their fuel is expensive.

I bet there's a duplicate [and probably of much better quality] on Aviation.SE.

it's not really an engineering question
the most expensive material used in aviation is paper
the certificates and other paperwork dominate the cost of the individual aircraft, as well as the cost of operation and the initial development costs of a new design

@TomMcW LOL exactly, or a PS controller would do. speaking of MiB, I love the first one, watched it a lot when it came out :D
I once tried playing a racing simulator with my flight sim joystick just for fun, was a nightmare :D Y-axis for gas/brakes, X-axis for steering
so don't pimp your ride with an F-35 stick just yet :D

@mins what is your beef, my friend? I am trying to be helpful here.

10:07 PM
@ymb1 I've always found racing games to be almost impossible with ps or Xbox controllers. But I just suck at video games, period
@ymb1 I wonder if Airbus sidesticks have any "play" around the center point. I had a car that developed about an inch of play in the steering. An hour of highway driving in that thing and you felt like you'd been beaten up. I hope they don't develop drift like Xbox joysticks. That would suck!

Q: Do our participants not understand what the premise behind the SE model is?

KorvinStarmastI note this comment chain under this question, where I try to help @mins refine the scope of a question, and the response was both negative and argumentative. At what point does the fundamental premise of the SE model -- questions with objective answers, and sometimes even 'best answers' -- ge...
