@mods, can you take a look at aviation.stackexchange.com/questions/87632/…? It's absolutely not opinion-based, and no one has presented an opinion about why they think it is.
It's a really hard question that is ripe for an optimal analysis. (I say this from the lofty position of having done a dissertation on optimal control.) The factual answers are not intuitive, the question is well posed, and most pilots have not had training which would get them anywhere close to the formally optimal solution.
Without having a single downvoter explain their stance, we're left to guess if it was perhaps in bad faith or maybe was downvoted by pilots adhering to the overly simplistic common wisdom which they were taught.

TL;DR: mods (and I am not the only one) won't enforce that. but consider:
- it's not great for the site, and if Boeing goes through, it will be removed by the admins without warning
- the question is already closed as too broad, an answer saying "this is too broad, here's a random list that more or less covers most of it" is not a great answer either. IMHO
