It's sad we don't have a standardized, agreed upon definition for Thrillers; it ends up becoming a way to stigmatize Horror.
I've found the best delineation between the two to be Thrillers are told from the POV of the investigator, while Horror is from the POV of the victim.
All of this. So many romcoms romanticize the exact same behaviors that in a horror movie would be part of the rising tension establishing the killer's bonafides.

It's the same broad category, but stalking for love and abduction as romance aren't the same thing. I think it's good to remember that both of them are staples of romantic plots.
