so bizarre btw 'north korean hackers' is a thing now... I recall the days they had maybe a thousand computers in the entire country, and they were teaching stuff that was a good 20 years obsolete
they're probably also involved in counterfeiting foreign currencies - that I find more believable, different skill set
@JourneymanGeek reading that a bit less hastily now, "They sent the target a message over WhatsApp that transmitted a file named amazon_assessment.iso."
Who the hell opens iso (or ANY other) files from strangers over whatsapp? and more importantly, who the hell would want to work for amazon? o_O
@JourneymanGeek Yeah, but I imagine their employment conditions will probably not be great, considering how the already poorly paid people at the warehouses are treated :x
doing a mortgage thing now, and one of the advisors turns out to already commissioning things on my behalf without my consent... AND he sounds like a used car salesman, so that's probably a (hell) no from me
@JourneymanGeek you should, HR together with finance are probably THE support departments where you get assholes who get away with everything
bad/lazy... package delivery guy dumped a 100 euro bag in the hallway of the apartment building, also without any kind of notification... I found it when I walked out for an errand, but considering working from home there are entire days that I don't leave the house
the package delivery companies here are dragging their feet, you should be able to at any point before it leaves for the delivery route, switch out to a local pickup point... sadly some of them insist on a first attempt, and that's where things go wrong
@JourneymanGeek not always, depends on the shop
this was a bag directly from the manufacturer's site, they didn't give me a track and trace
if it's (ironically) amazon or any other dedicated shop, T&T is there, but depending on the service you may not be able to reroute to a pickup point from the get go
I'd ideally like that to be zero attempts and instant pickup, now I have to sit at home for a 4 hour window (usually goes down to 2, but still), instead of just getting a message and at any time that is convenient for my schedule, make a stop and pick it up
@JourneymanGeek Herschel, pretty big backpack manufacturer
no complaints about them btw, I reported a minor defect to the closing mechanism (and expected a small part to be sent)... instead they gave me a full value voucher so now I have two backpacks :D
And I eventually managed to fix the issue as well (:
ISO has one additional key in comparison to ANSI.
Is there an easy way to access this additional key on a Chromebook UK layout?
It is in the bottom left hand corner of this layout.
