Is there any or good cheap 5G modern/routers? Not 5G in the wifi sense but 5G in the Mobile cell towers that you need a sim card for? My friend that lives in a rural area is getting competly f**K as the existing providers are cutting service and there is only 1 that is upgrading their infra to 5G but than they are going to drop support for 4G. Like his existing ISP already cut cable(ISDN) internet service last year but now they are even cutting lan phone service as well.
The only provider in his area that will remain is ATT.
It so shit because like town is less than 3 miles away for him and they have gigabit internet.
