hello... I'm wondering what's the abstraction in Windows to go to a users' home directory in Chrome using e.g. file:///%HOME%/path/to.html

(to be clear, the above doesn't work)

@AaronHall If you are talking about the Chrome browser I don't think there is one ... no browser will evaluate %HOME% in the address bar. My Windows doesn't even have a HOME environment variable. What exactly are you trying to do?

You can probably do some command line trickery to open that page in a browser though.
