For some reason, when I go to C:/Users, my name is spelt incorrectly even though I set it up with a Microsoft account with the correct name. How can I change it?

wtf why's it so hard to get soemthing added to %PATH% D:
Oh wait it is there, but the exe doesn't autocomplete in cmd D:

@Xnero no clue, creating a new local profile and then linking the account seems the better option

user435118
@CaldeiraG How do I do that?

user435118
@CaldeiraG Thanks

And how would I link the accounts?

Once you login on the new account I believe you get the option to connect to a Microsoft account

user435118
But how can I transfer everything from the old to the new account?

10:44 AM
@Xnero this might be a question for the site.

user435118
@JourneymanGeek Too late now, I corrupted Windows.

That solves everything. Time to reinstall?

Had to do system recovery which actually worked quite well, still have the same issue though.

Why ever use a mikeysoft account, Just press skip skip skip an ddo it the normal way.
Someone please star that, using a google or mirosoft or bitoconin_pretty_please_get_scammed_now account seems to be the default setting.\\\\\\
@bwDraco Late reply, but check out memery ranks.
One dimm can have multiple ranks, though on e consumer hardware this typically is 2 ranks per DIMM. Check out our server site for more i info.

@Hennes get an extra step of disconnecting your ethernet cable (or Wi-Fi)

But I have q wireless blauwtandkabel.
where s/blauw//blue and s/tand/tooth (dutch to engrish)
Windows: your bluetooth cable is diconnected.

hm?

@Xnero - A simple solution to that problem is to disconnect your Microsoft Account. You will be prompted for a profile name. At that time you can select a new name. Once you have logged back into your account you can link your Microsoft Account to your local profile. Every other guide to change your profile directory will not work.
The method a describe absolutely will work, the other solutions, are a hack to get around the fact Windows never supported renaming the user profile directory until they introduced the ability to link Microsoft Accounts to a local profile

@Ramhound Ok, I'll try that. I tried to change the registers and it was an absolute mess.

@Ramhound Once you have a MS account, even if you unlink it the profile directory will still be the same? Am I wrong?
I created a local profile for this exact reason

user435118
If I make a local admin account and sign out of an MS account, will all the MS account data be moved to the local account?

My surname is Caldeira but MS decided my folder would be named Calde even though the full name is obviously there
@Xnero I mean, you can link your account back again but other files like downloads and settings will still be on the old profile

oh, I have that problem too
and its based off my email so its failea...

Finally, it created a new folder in C:/Users/. Can I delete the old folder?

7:32 PM
@CaldeiraG - The profile directory won’t change.

I am having one of those days. What does Razer mean exactly when they indicate their tilt scroll button isn't clickable?
does it mean the scroll button isn't clickable?

maybe it acts as a scroll, but not another mouse button?

My current mouse acts weird at time
it works fine in a game. However, when I try to move a window, I have to attempt the action multiple times
What does it mean when the full diagnostic feedback option isn't offered in Settings?

How strange
no idea

.... full diagnostic is "optional"
I am not often critical of Microsoft but that's about as clear as dirt.

11:46 PM
What model of computer?
