@deostroll there's stuff for vnc, rdp etc, and then there's stuff like x2go.

You'll get the best experience with x2go and such.

Of course, for all of these you'll need to install something

Except maybe for X forwarding, but that's a completely different beast and IDEK if you can do that with a windows client.

For VNC solutions: I won't name names because there's several and they work differently, some are more ideal for multi user setups, some are more ideal for (for example) viewing a user's screen to provide support and such.

There's also always teamviewer, anydesk etc, but those are also uh, y'know, teamviewer and anydesk, and may be undesirable.

How to boot to linux after changing boot order? I installed win 10 and ParrotSec in my laptop last year and few weeks ago, I changed the boot order from Linux to windows.

The Windows installer doesn't care about other OS in the system. So it writes own code over the master boot record. Fortunately the solution is easy too. You need to repair the MBR. Do the following Boot using a live usb/cd of ubuntu. Use boot-repair to fix the problem. After booting with li...

I tend to boot to a live CD and install and run it there

If it is a financially viable option for you, I recommend having a separate drive for Windows and Linux, and just swapping between the two depending on need. I also have WTG on my Windows SSD, so I can use it on other computers too.

@Ave I didn't installed anything. I installed both OS' last year (first windows and then linux) and everything worked fine until I changed the order in Bios boot menu, few weeks ago

Actually this is a laptop. I can't use 2 hard drives in it.

I've some important files in Linux. Reinstalling it will remove it.
