I'm eager to see Ryzen 4000 H-type processors and Radeon Graphics grace the next generation of the ThinkPad X1 Extreme...
(alongside the usual Intel + GeForce combination)

@Burgi and anyone else who knows good stuff
you guys reccomended the Moto G5 to me, awesome phone, I need something for the misses

7:45 PM
Right now thinking I'll get a Moto G7 power for myself, and give her my G5
She's got a Sammy S...5? I think, she's had for like 6 years :D
Unless anyones gonna tell me teh G7 is awful and should be in the sea.

8:07 PM
lol
If you're willing to spend more, consider getting the Galaxy A50?
Specs seem very similar and likely to be a bit in favor of the A50 (at least for US models) but the battery is smaller on the A50.

don't want samsung.
and battery is what i crave

Hmm.

I'm more looking to see if anyone screams "nooooo those phones eat your dog when you sleep" rather than any reccomendations

@djsmiley2kTMW i got my dad the the nokia 5
only down side is that it hates the chromecast and crashes the phone and chromecast when you try to cast photos to it
oh and it has a sealed battery

seriously, nokia do good phones now and they are pretty stock when it comes to the flavour of droid

daily mail is saying only 4 people from the cruise in japan are confirmed positive btw :P
Does it have a 5000mha battery?

yes but its the 4 people that were screaming to the newspapers that they were being held against their will
not sure
> Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery
it might have had a specs boost since 2017 though

nah that looks pretty standard
the g7 power'..... name
comes from the fact the battery is lolbig
right
i'm off to bed o/

@djsmiley2kTMW Yeah, 5000 mAh. That's the same capacity as the battery in the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
My parents both still have their Moto G5 Plus. Neither have complained about battery life or performance, 34 months in.
I took up a Galaxy Note10+ after using a OnePlus 3T for 29 months and starting to find the performance and battery life lacking. I still use the old phone as a Wi-Fi-only multimedia device, hopefully to limit the wear and tear on the expensive new phone.
If and when my parents need new phones, I'm inclined to point them to the Galaxy A51 (when the North American version launches).
(the successor to the Galaxy A50; currently on sale in EMEA, with NA version coming soon with availability through all major carriers)
