I just ignore every part of systemd that's not an init system

I was actually debating getting a buyvm vps again at one point.

On Debian 9, I have mdadm in RAID 1 in a single partition (underlying devices have another partition to store UEFI boot info)

I booted up into a SuperRescueCD and I am in Gparted. It recognizes the array.

how do I create another partition inside the RAID1 array? I would like to leave 100GB for the root disk and create an LVM for the rest of the disk.

You've used the entire space for the single partition

you'd need to shriunk it first, but this should all be asked on the main site, not in chat
