Basically a cherry-picked RTX 2080 Ti Strix card (same PCB, top 5% bin) with a self-contained liquid cooler.

That does give it a tiny bit more cooling capacity but the whole concept of a self-contained liquid cooler is pretty odd. It does make the card lighter-weight (replacing the heavy heatsink with a smaller radiator) and increases the cooling capacity a tiny bit, but it's not like a separately-mounted radiator/fan assembly.

Where it clearly wins is in performance, beating out every other RTX 2080 Ti card by a significant (~10%) margin.

10% may not seem like much but that's about halfway between GPU tiers...

I took a look at the thermal test results and while there does seem to be an advantage (considering that it does use a bit morw power), it's tiny.

Astaroth has the Corsair 760T.

I wanted a cleaner design that still allowed me to showcase what's inside. The hinged chassis doors are a fantastic feature, too.

If only all the front panel USB ports were USB 3.x...

The RGB bug did bite me some time after the build was completed.

Ended up adding some Phanteks RGB LED strips. Most better boards these days have RGB light headers and mine had two available.

I am so tempted to build a dedicated workstation. I might get into videography and video editing at some point...

I should probably get a copy of DaVinci Resolve first...

(the basic version is free, and the Studio version isn't expensive as far as video editing software goes)

On the fence, though, and videography equipment is even more expensive than stills photography gear.

I'd rather not go half-in on this.

But... You know what else can you do without the 2FA? Disable the 2FA.

I have this on a VM. The 2FA is a phone app. I don't have it installed.

I tried a BRL 1 test transfer. "Please enter the 2FA code". Damnit!

"If you have a new phone, just install the app and it'll replace the old 2FA".

But... To use the app all it asks is your bank number and password, the same thing the website asks.

So in order to use the 2FA all you need is any phone and the same info you used to login

"Meh, don't wanna install the app".
"Huh, what's this?"

Even if such a regulation doesn't exist... not using something like G-Buster puts a bank at a unique risk of legal liability because one could argue that the bank is failing to provide sufficient security.

I think the most I can see at the same time is 7 or 8, but obviously the trick is that dots around the peripheral seem to disappear when your eyes are not moving.
