@Ramhound I'm on the fence. No evidence of spamming. And what's the date of the domain reg got to do with it?

It is evidence that the company isn't established and didn't exist before Aug 2017.

@Ramhound And?

Bing only generates 3 results for that particular program, 2, are that page itself one with "2016" in the title
I am not finding any evidence that the program was suggested, EVER, outside that single answer.

@Ramhound That still doesn't make it spam.
Maybe it's a newish company?
> The development team of Secure Disk for BitLocker is located in Linz / Austria and formed from an experienced cryptographic spin-off in 2002. All development and support are carried out in our company premises. Encryption is our passion!

So I would expect the domain to be older, and registered, for longer then a single year
The domain also has the wrong contact information
Well I stand by my judgement. We have flagged *artition-*ool recommendations as spam.
Website is a circle. "Learn More" on "regain control" just refreshes the page

@Ramhound After further digging you are correct. Andy is Andreas Schuster of Verschluesselt (xn--verschlsselt-jlb.it) who is "Publisher responsible for content" for secure-disk-for-bitlocker.com/about

Besides the company is a spin-off which was formed in 2002. A new product I can understand but the website is poorly made, is a circle of information, all designed to get you to purchase it.

The photo is a giveaway. So spam with no disclosure of affiliation.

Which I understand is the point of a product website, but I have the problem, with the circular navigation :$

It's gone - spammer nuked.

Got a desktop Ryzen processor? AMD has partnered with Enmotus to bring datacenter-grade disk caching technology to enthusiasts: community.amd.com/community/gaming/blog/2018/01/10/…

@Ramhound Probably just a bad answer.

morn
@bwDraco JS is universally different*
(if I could count the number of compat bugs...)

That's an interesting move by AMD. They're trying to come out with something that can stand in for Intel Smart Response Technology, and came up with a disk caching solution from a company that makes caching software for datacenter use.

@bertieb funnily enough cortana can do that: laptopmag.com/articles/send-sms-cortana-windows-10

I wonder how many folks are going to use it, though.

Q: How to tell a colleague to not drink water from my bottle?

PeacefulSo I have a water bottle in my office and to fill it every time is a tiring business. I need to walk to a different floor than I sit and then I need to wait till other people fill their bottles. Then after filling it, I need to come back to my office. Here is a colleague of mine who sits next d...

I can't tell if this is like a sipper bottle... or more like a jug.
Either way, I'd be annoyed if my colleagues just walked up and drank from my bottle!

i think in western countries it would be grossly frowned upon and there would be an immediate backlash
having read IPS since it launched i do wonder how some of these people manage to function in society
the sperm donor one is fair enough but someone stealing your water... thats just common sense

Bob
@bwDraco That sounds ... dangerous. In the same way RAID 0 is dangerous.

dope it with laxatives

4K system requirements are still very steep. Base game size is still insane, at 100 GB.
1080p requirements are more accessible, though.

I have a feeling that FF15 will end up being the performance behemoth Crysis was almost six years ago...
And here I am with a $4,000 PC, built with my own hands, that meets the highest requirements.
The CPU requirement for 4K play, at least, is decidedly less insane, calling for a Core i7-7700 or Ryzen 5 1600X.
Benchmark to be released February 1; the game itself is coming out March 6.

was that really said in 2013?
and was XV really released back in 2013?

It was still in development.

As for that IPS question. I would tell the person get another darn water bottle and fill more then one :$

Yea, if they are comfortable with confronting them, perhaps filling two water bottles and then gifting one to their colleague would be enough of a hint
