I got the ping down to 4 ms - how far away could a server be, with such a low ping? My computer -> copper Cat5e -> router -> copper Cat5e -> ONT -> fiber -> local circuit box -> long run fiber -> Verizon office
speed of light * 0.75 in ethernet roughly, maybe a little faster in fiber...
