Q: In a bash script, how do I check if "-e" is set?

I use set -e in scripts quite often, but sometimes, it's ok for a script to fail in some of it's commands. I tried checking if set -e was ON, but couldn't find a way to do it - there's no option (that I know of) in set that will provide the current value. Also tried this: set | grep errexit (erre...

Just saw this question in HNQ and totally misread the title as “In a bash script, how do I check if the “-e” is silent?”. Guess it’s time for bed!

Years out of date and here because I need a favour! Is Tom still around here? Or, anyone who knows Windbg well?!

And, p.s. I check the site every few days, is there anyway to get the "old" search back or have new questions slowed down? I used to answer MANY questions a day... now... I can barely see anything I can help with :(
