Looks like svgur.com/i/ isn't doing too well. All the images using that on the hat list are broken. "This application is temporarily over its serving quota. Please try again later."

My updated theory for Carnaval is “edit for 6 days (need not be consecutive), excluding tag edits but edits on own posts are counted”.

@Panda I agree. I have edits (not counting my own posts) on Dec 16, 17, 19, 20, 21 and 22 UTC time, where the days are also not consecutive.

The clues to the triggers are hinted at in the images: the Carnaval hat has 6 feathers, but often the action required isn't clear (editing in this case).

@Scratte Makes it much easier to get the hat, without the need for the edits to be consecutive. Otherwise, I would have had to wait for 3 more days. ;)

@YaakovEllis Technically, it’s a bug in my browser that pauses the game when I open console.

But the time still runs without the scores increasing.

When I autofocus my window, the game continues but the score will be exceedingly low but with a long duration.

@Panda you are not banned at the moment (might have been for same reason as Eran, and was removed when I cleaned that up)

@YaakovEllis just for fun I have been trying the bot approach to the game. Not caring about the leaderboard so I am fine with the ban status, but I was wondering if it would be possible to get the not-logged in game to still report if your actions would get you banned. The url obviously does not work for logged-out users, so it is kinda impossible to know if something would work. That said, it is fine if you won't - right now I just wonder how far the bot will go.

@Derpy you are interested in getting a "this game would have been banned" answer when hitting /hat-dash/end?

@IanCampbell I have one in Java. But I doubt it would be a good fit for you.. it also requires some non-negligible work in order to prepare a post. The only real issue with it is that I have no Answer to it.

I know almost nothing about Java, so I should probably avoid that.

It's probably a lot easier to try out 10 close votes that goes on to close the Questions. So if you're in it to test it, go for that :)

Or.. test 9 close votes and 1 reopen vote? If you want to see it it's just the total 10.

We don't get many posts to close or reopen on the sites I moderate, so I went through review queues on SO.

I got the hat very late after multiple attempts, I feel close vote reason and majority reason might be at play

@YaakovEllis Had the time to check on a not-logged-in game run what the /hat-dash/end endpoint does. I saw it returns the endgame message. If you could add that info too it would be nice - as I said, I don't plan to use it on the "logged-in" game.
