@SteelyDan Context?

the justification used for being banned for one week beginning October 11

(I'm probably the person here who's most famous for throwing around accusations of lying. I tend to use the word broadly. Perhaps I should modify my usage a little.)
@SteelyDan That doesn't help me. It wasn't me who banned you.

yeah, I know
but you asked for context, so I provided it

By "Context?" I meant, Where can I see the accusations you made, and the evidence you used to back them up, and thereby judge their veracity?
Yes, that's a lot of meaning to pack into a small word, but the context (!) helped.
@SteelyDan Or, simpler, Which lies are you talking about?

El'endia Starman's lies about not having established a habit of wrongly deleting my answers and comments

@SteelyDan You have 9 deleted answers, of which I have deleted only two of them. After my first deletion was when you accused me of having a habit of deleting your answers even though 1 occurrence cannot be called a 'habit'. The other mods (and Mark Gravell) can confirm this.

Q: What's the difference between a vicar and a pastor?

BillareWhat's the difference between a vicar, preferably of the Church of England, and a pastor? I browsed Wikipedia, but most of the gist of the article is that vicar is an ecclesiastical office, and oft-invoked title (e.g. the Pope is known as the Vicar of Christ), but there's not much else there exc...

I'm looking around for really good recordings of African-American spirituals. Does anyone have any suggestions?
@TRiG Pastor is derived from the idea of Church leaders being akin to shepherds and the people being the flock.
Not sure about vicar, though. We don't have those.

@JonEricson keeper of a vinyard right?, probably a catholic term (they used to grow grapes locally whereever they planted new churches)

@waxeagle One of the answers says it's Latin for substitute.

@JonEricson ah, right on the lineage wrong on the reason :)

I think that question and its answers work as well on C.SE as ELU.
(And, no, I'm not asking for a migration!)

@JonEricson just fine either place

I'm found some Edison cylinder recordings, but I'm interested in less scratchy recordings.

Q: What is the difference between a pastor, a priest, and a minister?

Affable GeekNo, this is not the start of a joke about a bunch of people walking into a bar. Rather, I thought it would be helpful to clarify various terms that people use to describe a church's leadership.
