So, I'd like some feedback on this question: christianity.stackexchange.com/questions/6023/… Did this question just get attention strictly from the skeptics, or was my answer truly awful?
I'd love to hear from guys like @PeterTurner, @AudioSancto, @Caleb, and people like that - 'cause I'd really like to give a good answer...

@AffableGeek For the record, we have a couple of persistent downvoting trolls. Specifically, anything that touches on faith+reason tends to get an automatic -2 or -3, and they must follow pretty closely because those votes come in early. Just don't sweat it. They almost never include feedback and it seems they don't care much about religious issues except where they claim to cast faith as a reasonable thing.
@AffableGeek As for that specific answer, I would argue it misses the mark by downplaying the role of scripture self-validating Scripture. The answer you gave has a distinctly Anglican bent, the points you stress those given extra attention in the Anglican tradition and thus doesn't speak for the whole of Christianity very well and is likely to leave most Catholic, Evangelical and Reformed folks feeling like you've left off the most important bits.
Personally I think all those points have merit and deserve airtime in discussing that topic, but that you fail to touch on some of the most significant issues.
