@Wyrsa We're quite strict on how questions should be asked here, because allowing any sort of questions resulted in an even worse site. It may be frustrating, but by requiring almost all questions to be scoped specifically to one denomination or movement we're able to largely avoid sectarian arguments and fights. Answers are now evaluated based on how well the address the specific question, and voting isn't simply a popularity contest, with the biggest denomiantions getting the most votes.

@curiousdannii This is nice to know, and yes it is frustrating but understandable. I just think we can do slightly better in how we address this matter. The rules on specific opinion are interesting, though it is annoying when downvotes occur on an answer but no comment is given as to why.
My answers are easily "shot down" by those who do not accept church tradition or ancient church fathers as a source for an answer.
But it seems we do rather well, despite it being the internet? :)
