@GratefulDisciple maybe just leave as it is. If it's more specific it's not likely anyone can answer it. I'm thinking about what I'd say in an answer

@KorvinStarmast @PeterTurner @LukeHill Didn't realize that we are right in the middle of 3 significant anniversaries related to St. Thomas Aquinas and Pope Francis launches three years of celebrations in his honor: 700 years since canonization (July 18, 2023), 750 years since his death (Mary 7, 2024), and 800 years since his birth (2025).
I'm very happy that surrounding the 800 year celebration of his birth, universities in China are celebrating too by commissioning a new translation of his Summa Theologica to Chinese !
Not only that, they are doing conference to discuss him at Wuhan (of all places), part of their Fifth National Forum on Medieval Philosophy by Chinese academics and clergy attended by experts from around 30 universities in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau.
I was surprised to see in Eleonore Stump's CV that she was made honorary professor of Wuhan University. Now it makes sense.

It looks like the Chinese conference was just finished (June 8-9 2024). In the West, one major conference is the upcoming Sep 22-25 2024 at Notre Dame Aquinas at 800: "Ad multos annos" where one of my favorite teachers, Thomas Joseph White, OP, is naturally one of the keynote speakers. Over 120 speakers will present papers in concurrent sessions. Looking at the Conference Schedule (a Google doc) I cannot wait to read some of them!

Here is the list of all Semi-plenary session topics and Concurrent session topics, along with 4 keynote addresses and the opening remark. Reviewing every topic would enable one to grasp the breadth and the principles of Thomistic thought for every topic, i.e. good curriculum for self study. I hope the conference will be recorded and posted online.
@PeterTurner The Hillybilly Thomists will be performing at one of the dinners!

There has never been a better time to learn Thomism, compared to the early 20th century when I heard that the studying of Thomism was somewhat sterile, owing to half-hearted following to Pope Leo XIII 1879 Aeterni Patris. C.S. Lewis was a witness to that neo-scholastic sterility, so he didn't keep his copy of the Summa when he moved.
I'm very happy that since the 21st century, what Pope Leo XIII envisioned has come true. I wished C.S. Lewis witnessed this.
@PeterTurner Should I become Catholic, would it be presumptuous to choose St. Thomas Aquinas as my Confirmation Saint? Would that choice be recorded in the Parish register?

Q: What was God's original plan for humanity prior to the fall?

So Few Against So ManyI know that God had a plan for Adam and Eve provided they resisted the temptation from the serpent. God knew the consequences of both sides of the choice he presented them with . Since God didn't intend for them to sin as this came directly from a being that naturally opposes God, what was God's ...
