@LeeWoofenden Almost all Protestant Bible colleges would study the NPP. It's not so much about accepting or rejecting it, as taking it into account as we read Paul's letters. Protestant doctrine cannot be undermined by the NPP as it does not depend on a single anti-NPP reading of Paul. Protestant doctrine is of course based on all parts of the Bible, and there are many diverse Protestant interpretations of Paul.

@GratefulDisciple CRTs are a fundamentally different display technology, and not just because they use electron guns. CRTs don't have "pixels" the way modern displays do, leading to images looking different on a CRT. There are even ways to explicitly exploit this, with the result that graphics can look wildly different on a CRT.

@GratefulDisciple Yes. (Probably the most extreme example I've seen, but there's no question there can be significant differences. And the developers of the time were targeting CRTs, so there's an argument that modern emulation isn't properly recreating the intended experience.)
