@KorvinStarmast yeah I don't hop in there much because I'm apt to make a hash of it, but I did today. One annoying thing about mod powers is that we can't hit "leave open" because it takes it out of the queue entirely.
I'm doing Exodus 90 again this year so I need to stay out of "Minor Internet Controversies" so I can tick off my "Abstain from unnecessary computer use" box.

@PeterTurner Aye. My wife and I are doing intermittent fasting, and so far quite like it. We are looking at this years' lent and considering "can we raise the bar a bit and do actual fasting" and we think that the answer is yes. I think we'll graduate to 1 meal per day for the first week and see how it goes. (Current scheme is meals around noon and around 6, with no food in between - yes I miss breakfast). now and again we both end up not hungry and have one meal.
one of the benefits is that she has experienced a significant reduction in joint pain.
(The only part that I am sad about is that our scheme completely removes alcohol. I like a cocktail now and again).
