@Caleb Woo... that feels like being left behind in "Rapture".

What's all this above? Removed comments without explanation.
@fredsbend I just showed up myself, but it looks like our friend Ali was getting a bit carried away with the pinging people and sending them links to stuff they "should read" ... something he's been asked not to do with people who aren't actually engaged in talking to him. It looks like @AlUmmatمجاهد found it first, and cleaned up for us. (thanks)

Hey @JonEricson re this:
I'm voting to close because I think its not constructive to ask primarily who believes this. Rather, I think asking where the belief came from or how it's supported from the Bible are more constructive. — Jon Ericson Mar 4 at 18:18
I'm a little bit surprised here, and inclined to disagree. I'm still trying to work it out in my head, but it seems to me that was a better question before the hack to make it a "biblical basis" question. Not all list questions are created equal, and asking what denominations believe in some oddball doctrine seems like something we should be able to do.

@Caleb yes, that exactly what it was. no problem, any time :)

Q: Can the Quran be a valid historical record on the real life of Jesus?

fredsbendFollowers of Islam claim that the Quran accurately describes the life of Jesus, however, their motivation for saying this is religious, because they generally believe that the Quran was dictated to Muhammed by the angel Gabriel. But what do secular historians think about the Quran in regards to ...

since we seem to be talking about this lately...

@Caleb Is there a difference between what you describe and playing the guessing game? It seems worse. A person asking "hey remember that show where..." at least has a show in mind. With oddball doctrines, people wouldn't even have a particular denomination in mind, just like the "single-word-requests" tag in the first image in the preceding link.
